Humanetics Celebrates Opening of First Facility in China

Wuxi, China - September 23, 2005 - Humanetics, a leading metal fabrication company based in Dallas, Texas, celebrated its entry into China with a grand opening ceremony of facility in Wuxi, Jiangsu on Friday, September 23rd.
With festive flags and balloons on the company building to greet guests from all parts of the world, the grand opening ceremony of Humanetics (Wuxi) Precision Metal Fabrication Limited started with traditional Chinese dragon dances and drum shows.

Located in one of the fastest growing industrial sectors in the world, Humanetics (Wuxi) is established to provide customers located in the Asia-Pacific region with manufacturing services that they have grown accustomed to in the United Sates.
Friday notable guests included top-ranking government officials from WND, potential joint venture partners from India, and representatives from customers in both the United States and China. “The company set a good beginning by setting up and running production in the same year,” commented Mr. Zhu Qi, Vice Director at WND. “Today’s ceremony marks one of the milestones in history of the company as well as an exciting event in the development of Wuxi New District.”
In addition to Wuxi, Humanetics has established facilities in various locations in Texas, including Dallas, Austin and McAllen to better service customers’ needs.
With state-of-the-art equipment that includes a Finn-Power FPL-6 laser and an Amada Vipros 368 King turret punch press, Humanetics (Wuxi) has the capability to manufacture all kinds of precision fabricated metal parts, and provide related integration services.
For over 30 years, Humanetics has ridden the crest of the technology revolution by innovatively manufacturing hardware for an extremely diverse group of industries.
Humanetics (Wuxi) is expected to double the number of its employees to 70 by the end of 2005, when a TL-9000 certification is also scheduled to take place at the facility.
