Humanetics to host open house in McAllen

McAllen, Texas - February 1, 2004 - Humanetics Precision Metal Works, a leading metal fabrication company, will host an open house on February 6th to introduce the company's new facility in McAllen to business in the Rio Grande Valley.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 2:30 pm on Friday, followed immediately by an open house from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at 7021 S. Bentsen Road in McAllen. Humanetics representatives will be available to answer questions.

"We are very excited about the market potential in the Rio Grande Valley," said Barrett Jenkins, senior vice president and general manager at Humanetics. "It has become quite evident to us over the course of the past several months that there is an unfathomable requirement in the Valley for the services that we provide."

Among the dignitaries expected to attend the event are Leo Montalvo, Mayor of McAllen, Mike Allen, president and CEO of the McAllen Economic Development Corporation ("MEDC"), members of the McAllen City Council, representatives and ambassadors from McAllen Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives from the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce.

"We are honored to have a company that makes quality products like Humanetics does located in our area. We are looking forward to a long, prosperous mutual business relationship," said Mike Allen.

"It's prudent to recognize the extraordinary service that we've received from the MEDC. They have made our expansion to McAllen a very comfortable experience and have played a pivotal role in our marketing efforts," Jenkins added. "We are grateful that McAllen is able to offer the services of such a wonderful organization to its business prospects."

The 100,000 sq. ft. facility has the capacity to service all the metal fabrication needs of companies situated along the border between Texas and Mexico.

Jenkins said the employee base in McAllen is as diverse and robust as the local culture, and Humanetics is looking forward to contributing job stimulus to this economy.
