Back in the 1970’s, Humanetics was branded with an image of “The Vitruvian Man” by Leonardo De Vinci. This image was a study of the human proportion. He explored the use of the golden ratio (1:0.618) as it was found repeatedly in nature.
Many believe the golden ratio to be the equation for things to appear aesthetically pleasing.
In our exploration for a new brand image, we wanted to pay tribute to our history in medical device design and manufacturing.
By arranging a series of golden ratio rectangles, the building blocks of pure mathematical design, our implied “Infinite H” logo was born.
It signifies the modern interpretation of the spirit of the original Humanetics brand, while creating imagery that speaks more to core of the sheet metal process.
